Speckles on the way!

It's been been a busy year so far, and it doesn't seem to be slowing down. The dye pots are running almost every day. I did manage to carve out some time this weekend to plan some new colorways for this year, and I'm so excited about the results!

Here is a little sneak peek of what is to come! This was the very first skein of this new experiment, and I admit I have to keep it for myself. But I promise to have some available for all of you soon too! Keep an eye on Instagram, as that is where the news tends to happen first. I can't wait to share more of these!

The first ever Lakeside Fiber Retreat

The funny thing about blogging is that having lots to blog about means I am exceptionally busy, and without much time to actually do said blogging! A couple of weekends ago, I hosted my first ever knitting retreat - the Lakeside Fiber Retreat. It was a wonderful three days, filled with knitting and great people. I admit I was anxious and terrified going to it, but it went great and we've already agreed to do it again next year.
