Craftopia this weekend!

2012 has been such a busy year so far! I have so much to share soon, but for now I wanted to let you know I'll be at Craftopia in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, this Saturday. The show is April 28th from 10 am to 4 pm!

I'll be debuting several new yarns: silk/merino sock yarn, a new merino/nylon sock yarn, tweed sock yarn and a gorgeous merino/silk lace weight yarn. Hope to see you there!

From the Dye Pots: More Sock Yarn!

My current obsession with knitting socks means I am also obsessed with dyeing sock yarn. I have been adapting some of my popular worsted and bulky weight colorways to fingering weight and I'm super pleased with the results!

Sadly this British Falkland Merino is limited edition, so once my stock runs out it will be gone for good! BUT - I have been very busy developing my new line of sock yarns and will be introducing new luxurious goodies soon!

Of course the obsession goes beyond just socks. I am loving fingering weight yarn in general, and plan on tackling some sweaters. Textured Stitches just arrived in the mail, and I can't stop drooling over this Intagliata Henley.

So I know I said I was going to make a different shawl and a hat, but I got seduced by other projects. I will get to those two eventually, but this is what I am working on now.
