I have a weakness for phlox, which grew all along the railroad tracks near my grandmother's house in rural Florida. I picked huge bunches of them and she seemed never to tire of finding another vase to fill with them.

Daffodils always cheer me up! I do already have a colorway inspired by them, and I think you might have one of them ;)
DeleteIt's so interesting how flowers become associates with memories. I also love yellow roses because they were my grandmother's favorite.
